Hosting: Making Your LMS Available on the Web
Based on the number of simultaneously logged in students and teachers you plan for, we offer various hosting plans. You can switch between these plans if you need an increase (or decrease) in performance.
The hosting plans differ in the monthly data transfer limits and the amount of disk space.
Disk Space
If you place a number of pictures or some movies on your LMS, they take up disk space on the web server (the internet computer where your LMS is installed). We reserve a certain amount of disk space for each LMS installation. How much exactly depends on the LMS hosting plan you choose.
Monthly Data Transfer Limits
Each time students get to see a movie displayed in your LMS, the movie file gets downloaded to their computer first. This is called data transfer. With each LMS hosting plan, there is a monthly limit on the amount of data that can be transferred. If your LMS exceeds the limit, you will be charged extra (i.e. on top of your monthly LMS hosting bill). If this happens frequently, we invite you to upgrade your LMS hosting plan, as this is generally cheaper for you.
